File Search Lookups - Save your searches - Save important search criteria such:
Hot Key - <Alt> + <b> to load File Search Lookup window
•Search (filename, extension, wildcard, etc.)
•Location folder
•Word or phrase in file
•Copy - Move to folder
•Sort by Name, Path, Date, Size, Type (Ascending or Descending)
•Output to Screen, Printer
•Search current folder only, or folder plus sub-folders or whole drive.
Once you accumulate a number of saved searches, you'll also appreciate using the same tools in other browses such as Search all text fields, or Query or Tag to help you find a previously saved search.

At this window, you can add a new saved search, change a saved search, delete a saved search or copy a previously created saved search.

These three fields MUST be filled in - Description, Search, and Location
Description
Search - Default when adding a record is "*.*"
Location - Default when adding is the name of the current Product Scope 7 data folder
for example - "C:\Users\Public\Documents\PS7\Example Data\"
Search - Type in a specific filename (EZChangeLog.chm) or type in a wildcard (*.docx) of your own choosing or a combination of filenames and wildcards (EZChangeLog.chm,*.docx). Separate each by a comma.

or use the built-in extension wildcards such as the MM (Multi-media) button to quickly display all the Multi-media files in the folder or folder and sub-folders.
Paste from clipboard - Paste from clipboard to the prompt on the left.
Clear - Click on this button to clear the prompt to the left of the button.
Copy to clipboard - Copy to the clipboard from the prompt to the left of the button.
Location and Copy-Move To (fields) can be easily changed to any folder by either typing in the path or clicking on the
Choose a folder button.
Saved search example:
You might copy certain downloaded files from one folder to another.
Some of your downloaded files originally were located in this folder:
C:\Users\Public\Downloads\
You want to copy to this folder:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\PS7\Work Folder\
The search list needs to be sorted in order by Date - top of the list has the latest image file
(Sort:Date, Asc, Desc D)
Dr\Folder (F) - Display only the image files in the current folder:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\PS7\Example Data\
Output - (N) - No output - Displays the file list only. Use this default unless you want your file list printed (P).
Location and Copy-Move to fields default to the current local folder as displayed in the Main Window title bar - these two fields can be changed to any folder you desire.
Click the OK button to save.
After you have saved your Search criteria, at the Browse File Search Lookups window, highlight the search record and press Enter.
This will load your File Search window with the saved search criteria, Press Enter.
The file search window will now display the saved search. Individual files can be marked, and copied or moved to the Copy-Move to folder.
