Quick tutor for first time use (or fairly new to both programs) of LANSRAD EZChangeLog Professional Edition (this is a SEPARATE product offered by another company) and EZChangeLog Reporter. This tutor example includes creating a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet report (Microsoft Excel IS REQUIRED for spreadsheet reports in EZChangeLog Reporter).
While EZChangeLog Professional Edition was originally designed for specific purposes for Software Developers, anyone can use this program to quickly document a variety of tasks - the example given will be using the Feature Requests section -
Feature Requests can be used as a more featured - ToDo list - with some extra helps built in!
Some of the advantages of using LANSRAD EZChangeLog Professional Edition and EZChangeLog Reporter together include: EZChangeLog is an amazing tool to "quickly" input a variety of tasks you need to track, creating various projects for better organization!
Then, using EZChangeLog Reporter, you can "quickly" send the results to an Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet - AND easily copy your task data to other tools, such as word processors. In EZChangeLog Reporter, you can create custom views, queries that can be sent to the Spreadsheet reports as well.
EZChangeLog Professional Edition - after install - Click on Projects button, click on Insert - type in Project Name and press tab (this will fill in Project Folder Name - Token value), then click on OK button.

Make sure the Project is highlighted you have just created, and click on the Activate button. (it might be activated just by clicking on the project name if one-click is enabled).

Click on the Feature Requests button. Click on the Insert button.

Fill in Feature Request - click on Under Development - Date Requested will default to Today's date - Request Followup Information is optional - if you click on Lookup E-Email address - you can insert your name, another name, etc. and email address - Then click on the OK button.

If you chose to fill in request followup information - here is an example of how it pre-fills an Email when you click the Send an E-mail button.

To more quickly see all the Under Development Requests - click on Filter - then click on Status = Under Development (if this is your first Request - the filter is not needed - but will be handy as you fill in more requests). Also, you can click on the Print button, it will display a Report Preview - and display requests according to the filter you have used.

After Installing EZChangeLog Reporter - use the EZChangeLog Reporter - Getting Started - Tutorials topic either online at:
EZChangeLog Reporter - Online - Getting Started - Tutorials topic
Or by pressing F1 for help in EZChangeLog Reporter, and clicking on the Getting Started Tutorials topic.
This should be the result (with your entries replacing those in this example).

Feature Status Query - How to Add - Under Development
