Save and Restore Settings

By using the Define Views or Modify View button, you can personalize a view that can be recalled and reapplied to a Browse.

Drag and Drop Column Movement

This allows the user to move columns (left or right) using drag and drop. To drag and drop a column simply point to the desired column, click and hold the left mouse button then drag the column to the desired "new" position.

Dynamic Sort Capabilities

Click on list box column headings to determine the sort field.

Build a sort order using Modify View button or Define View button.

Dynamic Sorting Via Column Headings

This option provides menu options for Ascending and Descending sort selection from the column heading context sensitive popup menu. To invoke a sort on a specific column simply right-click on the desired column and select the "Sort..." menu option.

Custom Sort Tab

This option creates an additional tab for the dynamic sort.

Views Control Buttons

Modify View -

This button invokes the Views's layout dialog. The Views will pre-populate the list boxes current layout and sort order. This is especially useful when the end-user has altered the list box format and would like to permanently save the current layout.

Reset View -

This button removes all custom format and dynamic sorting, restoring the browse back to the Encourager Software original design.

Define Views -

This button invokes the Saved View dialog which allows the end-user to create a new view or modify/delete existing views. The user may also choose the select and apply an existing view.

List Box - Right Click Menu

To gain access to this context menu simply select the main body of the list box and press the right mouse button.

Views Enhanced Locator

To locate a specific record simple ensure the list box is selected and begin typing the value you wish to locate. You may locate any value in the current sort order of your view.
