Product Scope 32 PRO Version 5.0 Imaging and PDF Features

Product Scope 32 PRO Version 5.0 introduces new compact size program (actual size displayed).
With a click of a button, load the image and then resize it (Image Viewer can be resized as large as screen)
The compact size program brings a number of exciting new designs to Product Scope 32 PRO, Version 5.0
In order to simplify operating the program, in the compact size program, only one copy of a window is run.
Images can be displayed in fourteen different types of windows including: Browse Products, Update Form, Image Viewer, Image Editor, Thumbnailer, File Search, Reports, and PDF Tool Box.
Two windows were designed specifically for 1024x768 video resolution or higher. This is the new Browse Products - Links | Image | Memo window and the new File Search - 1024 window.
Resizeable (can be resized as large as your screen permits, not limited to compact program size) windows (which display well at 800x600 or higher) include Image Editor, Image Viewer, and PDF Tool Box.

A number of Imaging and PDF enhancements are available in the Version 5.0 release of Product Scope 32 PRO.
Product Scope 32 PRO supports more than 15 image formats and more than 39 file extensions in the Imaging Tools, File Search windows, Browse Product Image and Update Product Form windows! These include:

Also, included are a variety of imaging tools - Images are displayed in original size (without scrolling) in the File Search - Image window (this is great for viewing screen shots), images displayed in reports, re-sizeable image viewer with lots of zoom features, re-sizeable image editor with a variety of features, new imaging display techniques in Browse Products - Image and Update Form; and a built in thumbnailer program. Note: Some windows are designed to be viewed at 1024x768 or higher, most are designed for 800x600 or higher.
All images are displayed in original size in the image viewers. However, when the image is oversized for the size of any of the image viewers, a "hand cursor" appears. You can "grab" the image with a primary mouse click (usually the left mouse button) and move the image to view more of it. Some of the image viewers are resizeable such as the image editor, or the image viewer. With the resizeable image viewers, you may be able to adjust the size of the image viewer to display the full original size. In addition to reports with PDF creation, a PDF Tool Box is available to edit existing PDF documents made with either Product Scope 32 PRO, or other products such as cpTracker by Berthume Software Screen shots illustrate working with PDF documents created by Product Scope 32 PRO - Version 5.0
Re-sizeable PDF Tool Box - Add Thumbnails, Merge 2 or more PDF documents, Extract images or pages, Insert images, View PDF documents inside Product Scope 32 PRO (must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed), and add an image or text as a watermark.
From inserting images into PDF files to creating thumbnails for existing PDF's to creating PDF files from Product Scope 32 PRO product image and product information to viewing existing and newly created PDF files from within the program, Product Scope 32 PRO, Version 5.0 handles a variety of PDF chores!
New Picture File Dialog - When the Product Image button is pressed in the Product Update form, or a file lookup button is pressed in any of the imaging tools (Image editor, Image Viewer, Thumbnailer); a file dialog is displayed with a image preview area as you scroll through the files. Width by Height information is available as well. In addition, the image can further be previewed to it's full image size by clicking on a preview button.
File Search - Images - In addition to the regular features of this window (Display, Copy, Rename, Move, Delete Files, Launch a file with an associated application, Sort the file list, etc), images are displayed in original size (without scrolling). This is great for viewing screen shots.
File Search Lookups - Save your searches - Save important search criteria such: Search (filename, extension, wildcard, etc.), Location folder, word or phrase in file, Copy - Move to folder, Sort by Name, Path, Date, Size, Type (Ascending or Descending); Output to Screen, Printer or File; Search current folder only, or folder plus subfolders or whole drive.
Once you accumulate a number of saved searches, you'll also appreciate using the same tools in other browses such as Search all text fields, or Query to help you find a previously saved search. An indespensible new tool!

The Icetips Previewer is a report previewer that you can modify to: Match the look-and-feel of your apps. Delete or add functionality.
Page list - Currently unavailable in other major Clarion report previewers. A listbox showing all the pages in the document runs down the left side of the Previewer window.
Fast Search - The search in the Icetips Previewer is very fast. In our tests, it searched through 94 pages in about a second.
Toolbars - The default Previewer has a two-row toolbar at the top of the window. The top row contains navigation, page selection, and zoom levels. The second row contains pages to print, searching and copies to print.
