Microsoft Excel is required to run Spreadsheet reports!

If you do not have Microsoft Excel installed, this error window will display.

Browser is NOT loaded - when you click on link button such as Internet Link.

 

Adding this record creates a duplicate entry for the Data Folder Description - Click the OK button to the error message and change the Data Folder description to something unique. Or you can cancel and click the No button when you are prompted to - "Do you want to save the changes to this record?"

 

 

To use the Spreadsheet reports feature - you must have Microsoft Excel on your computer, or any registered spreadsheet software capable of editing Microsoft Excel XLS files.

You've typed in a letter or some letters to narrow the list, but there is no Data Folder description with that letter combination and your list is blank. Then you click on the Select Data Folder button.

To clear this error - Click the OK button, then Click on list to get focus - press your backspace key until your Data Folder Description list appears again.

 

Product Scope 7 currently allows you to attempt making an Administrative User account folder while using a Standard User account - but even though the data folder record is created (Product Scope 7 program) - the actual data folder IS NOT created, It results in this error. This will be fixed in future release.

Vista related - Product Scope 7 currently allows you to attempt making a data folder location in a forbidden location (you cannot write to the \Program Files\ folders) - but even though the data folder record is created (Product Scope 7 program) - the actual data folder IS NOT created, It results in this error. When a search text value is NOT entered on the Search all text fields tab OR an QBE query is not entered on the Conditional Searches Tab, this error window appears.
