Reports

Custom Product and Vendor Reports not available in Product Scope Viewer.

There are basically three types of reports - Custom Reports, Full Description, and Memo Only.

Custom Reports allow you to do the following:

•	Use a simple, intuitive interface to quickly create and save an unlimited number of reports.

•	Optionally specify totals or averages for numeric columns.

•	Select from an existing sort or create ad-hoc sorting on up to four levels.

•	Create group headings, footings and/or sub totaling on group breaks.

•	Create summary reports by suppressing report detail printing.

•	Automatically adjust the report width to landscape mode when necessary.

However, all the information from a product or vendor record cannot be included in a single custom report.

Full Description reports include all the information from a record, but cannot be edited.

Two powerful features that can be applied to all reports are:

Queries

This dynamic filtering by query tasks can lead to a variety of ways of printing product information; print all the products produced by a single company in a list, print products by price range, print all products in a certain category, etc.

And you can do a report preview before committing to paper.

Report Preview

Many, many options - Here are just some of them:

•	Provides the option to print only the pages which are marked.

•	The ability to find words and phrases in a report instead of having to view every page to locate the information needed.

When you select a Custom Report or choose a Full Description report, it starts with a Query Options dialog.
